Speaking of Chinese, if you are in the GR area, First Wok on Alpine is delicious. Their lunch specials are $6-7 each with plenty to take home for another meal. I went with my mom and my sister last week and we had excellent service and food, not to mention that our waiter was hilarious (or high on caffeine?). AND the manager gave my sister a free $10 gift certificate when she paid. Now that's how you get customers to keep coming back!
