My Mom's Chicken Alfredo Recipe

Chicken Alfredo

4 frozen chicken breasts
1 jar of Ragu Alfredo sauce
Dry Italian or Ranch dressing

*Place the frozen chicken in the bottom of a crockpot. Brush liberally with melted butter and then sprinkle Italian or Ranch seasoning on top (I used about half of a package of ranch). Cook on low 5-6 hours or high 3-4 hours.
*When chicken is cooked, shred with a fork and turn to low. Mix in jar of alfredo sauce and ground black pepper (if desired). Heat through, about 1/2 an hour.
*Meanwhile, cook about 10 oz. of pasta (I used whole grain shells). Mix with chicken and sauce and serve! Super easy and my whole family loved it, plus there were enough leftovers for lunch today. I served this with carrots and french bread and I think the whole meal cost about 5 bucks.

  1. I love easy family recipes and this one will be served in my house soon. Thank you for sharing!

  2. So do I! My husband thought I had made the sauce from scratch he liked it so much. :-)

  3. Yeah well Chris hits 200 by Thanksgiving now.
