Garage Sale Redo: Changing Table

So remember about oh, 3 months ago when I said I had a garage sale find I was transforming? Well, here it is! I totally forgot to take a before picture but try to imagine it faux painted a medium brown wood stain.

Presto chango~a changing table! I had been looking around for a changing table with drawers, but they are expensive! Then I saw a changing table on a random blog made out of a dresser and I thought that would be a great idea! The changing table I saw was bright yellow and I wasn't quite ready to go that far, but I love the green apple spray paint I found at Meijer. The white drawers were kind of an accident (I ran out of green paint), but I'm so glad it happened because I love the white against the green. I had fun doing it and hope I can do more redo pieces in the future.

And here's the sweet boy sleeping in his crib.

  1. Good job! And the crib looks like it is white, so the white drawers work great.

  4. Great Job! I like the green and white look, especially for in a kids room.

  5. Good job! I just picked up a solid wood kids desk at the end of my neighbour's driveway. I can't decide to refinish it wood or paint it. I like how yours turned out though.
