Joel absolutely loves playing with Jayden (I hope Jayden feels the same way!).  In fact, a couple weeks ago when he knew we were going to stop by Jayden's house, he packed clothes JUST IN CASE Aunt Andrea said he could stay overnight.  :-)

This week in pics so far

So after 5 boys, we finally finished our sandbox.  What were we waiting for??

Time for lunch.  These two each had 4 pieces of bread.

Spring is here!

For now, anyway.  :-)  We'll see what the rest of the week is like.

I sent the boys outside at 9:30 this morning.  It is now 2:30 and they are still out there.
And from the looks of them, they aren't coming in until bath time!


Digging in the flowerbed since it is under construction right now.  Cousin Jayden came to play for the day.  Good thing he wore play clothes!




Why, yes, Andrew does look like he's been bathing in the mud!

Jayden and Joel are closer in age, but Jayden and Noah also play really well together.  Not so much all 3 of them together, but today they are doing great.  Must really be enjoying the nice weather!

Now, time to get boy #4 up from his nap and start back at potty training.  No wins in that area yet. :-(

Decorating Cookies

I used this recipe for the dough and this recipe for the frosting. Both ones I would use again.

 These two helped me cut out cookies.  Aaron was in his cage pack n play and Joel was at white Grandpa and Grandma's for an impromptu sleepover.

Noah and Jayden had fun with frosting and sprinkles.  The cookies had a definite crunch to them.

When Joel got the frosting on the cookies, he did a pretty good job.  But I think more frosting and candy went into his mouth than on the cookies.

Last zoo visit of 2011

 Next Saturday is the last day the zoo is open for 2011 so we went one last time this morning with Kaiya and Jayden.  We've already used our pass a ton this season and it doesn't expire until July.  They boys still like to go even though we've gone a bunch of times and its fun to be able to bring friends. 

Bears were pretty frisky today.  The grizzly was pounding at the door.  Hope he didn't want to get out!

This guy was pretty funny.  He kept sticking his tongue out at us.  We called him Gramps.

This spider monkey looks to be heavily encumbered with child.
